To remove traffic bottlenecks for commuters in Noida, travelling to and fro Delhi, a Rs 6.50 crore new bridge has been inaugurated over Shahdara drain on Thursday that will reduce both distance and time for the commuters, as said by the officials.
The new bridge that has been opened is a 73-metre long bridge with a width of the main carriageway of 11-metre and 1.50-metre wide footpath. The bridge is also decorated on both the sides with handmade painting which are installed free of cost by Kiran Nadar Mueseum. The new bridge will hopefully reduce traffic jams between Akshardham in Delhi and Sector-14A in Noida and will thereby reduce accidents as there will not be merger of traffic.
Cheerio to the less crowded roads on your way to Noida Peeps!
