Guess what! the New Delhi Railway Station is getting an all-new look and we can’t wait to see it all pretty and colourful!!
Soon you will be able to witness vibrant wall paintings, tribal art and colourful graffiti all around you at the NDLS!
To be completed by the end of Feb, this aesthetic facelift will see various teams of artists from all over the country who are coming together to impart new hues and narratives to this historic train station!
Work on this revamp has already been started and the concourse has been redone to depict India’s culture, while the booking area has been painted to highlight the heritage structure that was built in 1926, back when the station was launched.
The overbridges have been given a bright orange and blue theme and the Ajmeri Gate side now has a bright red look to itself
One of the main aim of this artistic makeover is as it hides the hideous paan stains that used to cover the walls.
