Know It All In 30 Seconds
A flood of vehicles, jammed traffic and people’s agitation at North Delhi’s Peeragarhi is going to see its end soon. The Unified Traffic and Transportation Infrastructure (Planning and Engineering) Centre (UTTIPEC) has just approved an application to build a flyover and two underpass U-turns on NH10 between Jwala Heri Market traffic crossing and Jwalapuri crossing.
Well, we are aware of the constant traffic jam, especially during peak hours leading people to burst upon each other. But we are overwhelmed by the unified efforts of authorities. According to the plan by PWD, a double carriageway flyover on Rohtak Road (NH-10) near Laxmi Narayan Mandir road will be erected.
A separate section for the pedestrian crossing will be built along with widening the road stretch. The passerby will take the breath of relief as the stretch along the proposed metro station (which will come up under Phase 4) will also be enhanced.
