The Purana Qila Lake on Mathura Road was recently renovated and rehydrated. However, to the disappoint of many a Delhiite, the lake of Purana Qila does not have boats.
What to expect at Purana Qila Lake
The Purana Qila lake has been bedecked with fountains and promenade running all around. In fact, the compound now also has a viewing gallery, designed to give the best view of the 16th CE fort.
Moreover, the viewing gallery gives one of the best views at dusk as the fort lights up for the night. Pair that with the restoration of many parts of the fort, Purana Qila is truly looking majestic now.
What we love about the Purana Qila Lake
For starters, the lake, in the past decade had started looking rather dull. But now it’s back to its past glory and we’re so totally loving it!! Go check it out soon.
