For those of you travelling by metro, DMRC has added extra security to the already tight systems at the metro stations. You will not be allowed to park your bikes, or cars outside the metro stations today, till 2 pm tomorrow.

While there will be no restrictions at the entry or exit of any metro stations, some gates at Lal Qila, ITO, Delhi Gate, and Jama Masjid Metro Stations will be closed for security reasons on 15th morning while the PM addresses the nation from the Red Fort.

Delhi Metro has also started a special Freedom Express as a mark of tribute to the freedom fighters. The train will have photographs of all the freedom fighters like Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, B R Ambedkar and several luminaries from different walks of life. The Metro train is designed to spread inspirational messages.

The six-coach special Metro train has started on Yellow Line in between Samaypur Badli and HUDA City Centre metro stations.
