One of the things that we love about Delhi is its long affair with jalebis! And it’s crazy how something so warm, crisp and sweet has become a dish that nobody can deny loving since childhood. In fact, our obsession for jalebis has taken us far and wide! So much so, that this small shop serving jalebis since 1928, has become our favourite! Why? Because they serve warm jalebis dunked in thickened milk.
Makhan Lal Tika Ram in Kashmere Gate has been driving people nuts with their Doodh Jalebis! Dunked in thickened milk, the crisp outer layer, along with the goodness of everything sweet inside is a ‘sweet tooth’ obsession you cannot refuse.
You can always find the good people here at Makhan Lal Tika Ram heating the milk! As they dish out glasses of jalebis to every single customer standing in line outside their shop. And if you’re lucky, you might just find yourself hogging on a dozen plates because that’s just how good they are!
Leaving already? That’s okay..because even we can’t keep ourselves from not hogging there!
