South Campus heavyweight, Sri Venkateswara College, is back with its annual cultural festival, Nexus! Past record has shown that the festival never fails to throw a great party. 2016 was spectacular & showcased the best in dance, drama & music among other things.
30 Second Window:
- ALAAP will provide Indian music for some desi grooving, along with Crescendo for Western music.

I. Groove With Raghu Dixit On Rock Night
Raghu Dixit will be jamming with the guests on the 24th, so it would be best if you plan ahead & take our advice on this! You do not want to miss out on dancing under the star filled sky! ‘Cause you know you will regret it later.
II. Croon To Songs With The Man Himself, Kailash Kher
What’s you favourite poison? Some soulful Kailash Kher or sitting at home with that lousy college book open in front of you? You choose, we can only point you in the right direction! Kailash Kher doesn’t need an introduction! Just his name makes people go crazy! He’s coming on 25th!!
III. Bollywood Theme 3 Day Long Party!
Chaska toh lagna banta hai iss party pe! Hit the party circuit wearing some cool Hollywood themed clothes! Whether it be the young crowd with some ‘out of the box’ style. Or some old, yet gold fashion statements from the golden era of Bollywood!
IV. The Battle of Bands
Who is up for a night of heavy metal, alternative rock, guitar swinging & drums beating? It’s the battle of the bands, son. You ain’t gonna see this nowhere! Get to know the band members, chill with them, croon to their songs & live your life!
