Have you ever wondered how Suresh Kalmadi, Sanjay Dutt, Asaram, Salman Bhai and many others ‘sacrificed’ their celebrity life and have lived in a 10×15 jail? Curiosity killed the cat (that’s a crime too) and thus the Tihar Jail authorities are giving you an opportunity to experience to live in a freaking jail for real!
What To Expect?
The largest complex of prisons in South Asia, Tihar Jail houses more than 14000 inmates, including some VIP politicians and businessmen. You just have to pay ₹500 to spend one night in Tihar jail. Now don’t feel disgusted remembering the iconic pot-overflowing scene from Sanju. The jail administration is making four cells for the visitor which will have facilities like TV, LED lights, fans, newspapers, washroom. There will be also a park outside for your morning walks. As far as safety is concerned, visitors will be kept away from the rest of the inmates. The guests will be served food prepared by prisoners only. No Swiggy No Zomato sorry!
Bottom Line
Interestingly, the project is called ‘Feel The Jail’. We are hoping that people just dont fall in love with ‘the feel of the place’ and try getting in there for all the wrong reasons.
