Delhi was stocked as Indian Cricket Team’s captain Virat Kohli’s wax statue was finally unveiled at the Madame Tussaud’s Delhi, but soon after it had to be taken away due to damage done by fans!
Well, guess that was a great welcome!
In the statue, fans could see Virat in his game stance, wearing the Indian cricket team jersey, all set to strike! But hours after the statue was revealed, the museum officials found that a part of the statue had been chipped!
The museum suspects the right ear of Virat Kohli’s statue was damaged when fans were clicking selfies.
But worry not! The damage was repaired immediately and is now open again for the fans to come visit!
Virat Kohli has joined David Beckham, Lionel Messi, Kapil Dev, Sachin Tendulkar and Usain Bolt, whose statues are already in the Madame Tussauds wax museum in Delhi.
