Summers are all about sweat patches, deadly headaches and flushed out energy levels.  So, we bring you a few basic hacks to combat the toll of heatstroke this summer and keep yourself healthy and energized all summer long.

1. Hydration is the key

Make sure to hydrate yourself well before leaving the house and while staying outdoors as well. Remember to have water at regular intervals even when not thirsty. Moreover, water intake can be achieved not only just by having an adequate amount of water but also by natural fruit juice.

Invest time in choosing the correct clothes to wear in summers. Avoid wearing too tight clothes, very dark shades, or silk and synthetic material. Opt for cottony, loose and more of light colors that keep your cool and calm.

3. Keep the belly happy

Along with drinking an adequate amount of water, it is also necessary to eat the right food. Avoid much of salt intake, sugar and caffeine. You can include more fruits like watermelon, coconut water, cucumber in the diet that refreshes.

4. Stay under the sun wisely

Avoid going under the sun at the peak hour of the heat. When outdoors, make sure to use a good sunscreen, hat, umbrella and scarf to cover the maximum of sun exposure.

5.  Avoid rapid switches

You are more prone to heat strokes if you undergo a drastic change in your environment from too hot to too cold and vice-versa. Do not do those quick switches. If you are coming from outdoors to indoors, take some time to put on the AC or having a cold shower.
