A group of 50 students from across IIT-D and IITs across India recently quit their job to form a new political party! And guess what the name of the party is?
Bahujan Azad Party is awaiting an approval from the Election Commission currently and while party workers finish up on some groundwork. The party, however, will not be jumping the gun. It doesn’t plan on fighting any upcoming election, save the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections.
The group includes members mostly from the SC, ST and OBC communities. In fact, the idea behind the formation of the part is to fight for the backward classes as they feel they have not received their due in terms of education and employment.
All set with a poster of pictures of BR Ambedkar, Subhash Chandra Bose among others, the party created by former IIT-ians will soon be majoring in the elections across India.
