Ayurvedic Cancer Treatment Hospital, located in West Punjabi Bagh area has discovered a treatment to cure cancer with Yoga and Ayurveda. Their approaches include lifestyle and food habit changes, ayurvedic medicines and yoga. Interestingly, they use ‘panchgavyas’, a mixture of five products of a cow, to aid in recovering of the patient. Instead of wheat, the doctors here suggest patients to eat barley, black pepper instead of red chilli, jaggery instead of sugar.
The hospital has a 20-bed facility with three permanent ‘vaidyas’ (doctors) and a staff of about 15 people for other primary jobs. Patients come from all parts of the country like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Odisha, and even Jammu and Kashmir. Some patients also come from abroad.
