So, as you drive away from Gurgaon and reach the outskirts of Delhi-NCR, not much greets you. Until, of course, you notice the small markets on the roadsides. And one of them is Gurgaon’s very own Chor Bazar.
Mewat Village is infamous for hardened criminals who have a reputation for selling automobile parts. In fact, if you want a high-end radio for your car, they have it! If you want fancy rims but don’t want to shell out too much, they have it! Basically, it’s paradise for roadsters and car lovers – and not just cars but also bikes.
Lingua Kalan, another such village market is famous for receiving 10 bikes a day. So, imagine exactly how many auto parts you’ll find there! However, these guys play it safe. All their trades are hush, even though many of their activities take place out in the open.
Additionally, these markets also have several showrooms for bikes and other parts. And while they prefer customers with references and deliver all the goods on demand, their new bikes sell for as low as INR 10,000. Which, quite frankly, is absolutely market disrupting!
Also, many executives living in Gurgaon claim that they get their bikes refurbished here for as low as INR 4,000!
Isn’t that absolutely amazing? And we bet you never knew about these two places!
So, if you ever feel the need to buy auto parts on the cheap, you know where to go!
