If you are a die-hard foodie and are all up for experimenting with different cuisines then this is the perfect opportunity for you! Machan, in The Taj Mahal Hotel, is hosting a food tasting of Colombian food and you are going to fall in love with these delicacies!
There are going to be an array of Colombian dishes like the Lamb Carimanola, River Sole FIsh Grilled in Banana Leaves with Avocado Salad and more!
The preparation will be done by Master Chef Alejandro Gutierrez and Juan Manuel Ortiz, who have flown in straight from Colombia to treat us to the authentic flavours of Sri Lanka!
This week-long food festival is being held in association with the Embassy of Colombia, to introduce India to the rich culture and flavours of their country.
The chefs will be creating the magic with the hotel’s team of culinary experts led by Executive Chef Arun Sundararaj to make sure that for us it is love at first bite with this unexplored cuisine.
Some of the other scrumptious delicacies that will be there in the buffet lunch include Patacones with Hogao and Chorizo, Prawn Ceviche, Cuajada Fresh Cheese and some scrummy desserts such as mango, café, and chocolate (spiced mango sorbet served with syrup, coffee, and chocolate shavings).
Do not forget to end the tasting with their pure Colombian coffee which is served with a hint of peanuts, perfectly balanced with crumbs of chocolate.
