So, the government has started building a 29 km long Dwarka Expressway connecting Gurgaon and Delhi. In fact, officials have said that the expressway will be ready in 18 months.
Now, the great thing about the Dwarka Expressway is that it’ll help in decongesting the Delhi-Jaipur highway. And if the things go as per plan, it will cut travel time from Delhi to Gurgaon by at least 30 minutes!
Moreover, 50 homeowners were sent an evacuation notice before the commencement of the contrsuction. Although the High Court did ask Huda to provide alternate housing schemes to the displaced homeowners!
However, delay in the allotment of new houses caused problems amongst many homeowners. But if the plan does see the light of day, don’t you think it’ll help urban drivers?
