So, travelling to the States may have just become tougher! The US Government recently suggested that it might do a complete background check on travellers. Including a review of their social media handles!!
That’s right guys! The US State Department has said that travellers may have to submit 5 years worth of Facebook & Twitter data while applying for Visa.

In fact, back in 2017, US also stated that it might just ask travellers to furnish their social media account passwords. However, that was mostly for the people applying for H1-B Visas.
So, while this change won’t happen suddenly, it might not be more than 2 months away from getting declared as a rule.
