All you bibliophiles hear us out! If you love books, you’re no stranger to the power of reading as an act of thinking.
The Great Book Giveaway is TCLP’s way to bring you on board the library movement and push for ‘Reading Is Thinking’ for all.
Attend the Great Book Giveaway at Alliance Francaise on June 29th-30th and make monetary a contribution as big or small as you can. In return as a token of gratitude, you will get to browse through an amazing collection of books and take your favourite titles home.
And that’s not it!
By donating to The Community Library Project, you will help TCLP build and support free, publicly-owned and operated community libraries, where all are welcome.
Your contribution will help fill libraries with books (chosen specially for our members, many of them first generation readers), hire and train library staff, organise read-aloud and fluency programs, conduct workshops on various subjects like gender, career counseling, theatre, dance etc. develop curriculum and fund library infrastructure.
