After waiting for months on end, Goa’s Dabolim Airport now has a ferry terminal! In fact, two catamarans will be joining the airport to Panjim & Sinquerim – two of Goa’s most touristy spots.
Moreover, at the launch, an official said that more such connections are underway!
The terminal is at Baina Beach – about 5 km from the airport – where you can travel on a shuttle service. So, how does it help you though? Well, if you’re staying in the city, the ferry ride will cut down your ride time immensely!
In fact, from what we hear, newer connections will provide ferry rides to party hotspots like Baga, Chapora Palolem & Mobor! The ferry ride provided by Drishti Marine has a 30 & 40 seater catamarans.
Further, the Economy Class of the catamarans from the airport to Panaji & Sinquerim will cost INR 800. And from Panaji to Sinquerim it will cost INR 200!
So, on your next trip to Goa, if you find yourself in rush for the cab service, simply book a seat in either of the catamarans!
