DMRC has started expanding its high-speed airport express line deeper into Dwarka. In fact, the corridor between New Delhi Metro Station & Dwarka Sector 21 will be extended till Dwarka Sector 25 to link it to the ECC.
ECC or Exhibition cum Convention Centre will be fifth in line to the stations between New Delhi Metro Station & Dwarka Sector 21. Basically, extending the length of metro connectivity by 1.7 km. Moreover, as the civic bodies & private companies start using the ECC for conferences – the metro will eventually help in speedy transport of delegates.
The DMRC has already procured 36 coaches, which will result in six extra trains for the corridor when it kicks off.
Also, since the ECC is in line with erstwhile Pragati Maidan, it is expected to witness a huge footfall. And if you too are excited about it, then hey, travelling just got easier for you!
