After dropping the ‘I’ from its initial title Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming movie ‘Padmaavat’ is all set to be released on January 25. But despite getting a clear pass from the CBFC, the protests against the movie continue.
Protests against the release have reached NCR as 15 people were arrested after the DND toll plaza in Noida was vandalised by people claiming to be from Shri Rajput Karni Sena and other supporting groups.
In Gurgaon as well several rallies and protests were organised by the group’s members. The incident took place when the protesters were going towards the malls in Noida to protest the release of the movie in the multiplexes there.
Let’s hope things do not worsen with the release of the movie this Thursday.
