Former US President is all set to land in Delhi tomorrow! Barack Obama is visiting India to host a Town Hall in Delhi tomorrow and to interact with young Indians. In the event organized by the Obama Foundation, the two-time US President will take questions from the attendees and will talk about “what it means to be an active citizen and make an impact.”
Obama along with his wife Michelle Obama last visited India in January 2015. He was the chief guest at 66th Republic Day celebrations. A video was posted by the Obama Foundation on social media, in which the former president said, “I want to have a chance to talk to young people who are doing amazing work all across India. We’re going to be organizing a town hall with young leaders from various parts of India, who can share with me some of the work they’re trying to do in their communities to make it better.”
He described India’s under 35 years old as “an engaged and passionate generation” the event will focus on the work of young Indian leaders and its benefits to the world.
