So, here goes my list of restaurants that serve drool-worthy pizzas in Delhi!

This place is famous because of its New York-style pizzas that are often referred to as pies. The pizzas are thin-crust and made in brick ovens. They are available in sizes of 8, 12, 14 and 16 inches. For the base you can choose from regular, whole wheat and garlic spices. Coming to the toppings, people love the Fromagi Fromagi, which is loaded with mozzarella, blue cheese, ricotta and cheddar, and Tres Lobos which is a treat for mushroom lovers. Do try their Sophia Pizza and Canal Street Pizza.

This new hotshot pizzeria is the talk of the town not just because of the celebrity chef brand tag, but for dishing out some really great pizzas. Top restaurants maintain their standards even at odd hours – this is one of them. Jamie’s Pizzeria has a modern interior with dim lighting, well-spaced wooden furniture, an open kitchen and wall hangings. Do try their Chicken Peperonata! It tastes heavenly.

3. Instapizza
If you are heading here, the one item that you should try for sure is The Monster Deep Dish Pizza. A huge appetite is a must! As the name suggests, the pizza is a meal in itself, and comes loaded with toppings of your choice. For the regular pizzas, you have the option of creating your own with unlimited toppings and without extra charge. Smokey Chicken and Chorizo, Garlic and Green Chilli are our personal favorites.

4. Pizza Express
Made in true Italian style – bigger, thinner and crispier, the pizza base is what elevates these gourmet pizzas to another level. They have an out-of-the-world range of toppings with some classic and Indian twists. They serve some mouth-watering desserts as well. This place is ideal for an evening with friends or family. Special mention goes to their staff as they are some of the kindest souls you will ever encounter.

5. La Piazza
If your idea of enjoying pizzas is not just giving into gluttony but enjoying the experience with fine wine, then this award winning restaurant at Hyatt Regency is sure to impress you. The traditional wood-fired Italian pizzas are simple, rustic and flavors at their best. Do try the the pizza with the same name as the restaurant, which comes topped with roasted garlic, goat’s cheese, pesto sauce and sun-dried tomatoes.
