Purana Qila will also join the league once lighting arrangements are finalised. ASI’s other ticketed sites in Delhi followed the sunrise-to-sunset rule. The decision was based on footfall, security concerns and viability. Apparently, extra staff will be required to address security concerns at Red Fort.
We hope other heritage monuments see a similar fate and we get to click night-selfies.
