Sanitary Pads And Contraceptives Will Soon Be Available At Railway Stations

Railway Stations

According to a new policy being rolled out, sanitary pads and condoms will be sold at railway stations. In fact, passengers and nearby residents – both will be able to buy them near the station toilet.

The policy stated that the move will fight lack of sanitation in nearby areas! Although that doesn’t explain why anybody would need contraceptives.

However, the facility will raise awareness for best practices of menstrual hygiene among both men and women. Moreover, each facility will have a small kiosk to sell low cost sanitary pads for women, along with an incinerator and condoms for men.

Additionally, under the policy, each station will have two facilities. One outside and the other inside the station, so passengers and locals can avail services, for free!
