People! Our favorite chole bhature joint Sita Ram Diwan Chand opens in Paschim Vihar and we’re already drooling! Well, we’re off to have some hot, delicious chole bhature!
The famous chole bhature joint has been passed from generations to generations. Late Sh. Sitaram Ji started the business with a Push Cart at DAV School in the late 1955’s. He used to push his cart around Paharganj and sell the exotic food to traders and residents. Later he opened a shop within Paharganj in 1970’s. It was word-of-mouth that grew their business manifold over the years and they opened their new branch in Pitampura in 2008. They prepare what many Delhiites believe to be the perfect Chole Bhatura. They say their mission is to” serve you best quality and taste”.
A plate of chole bhature here costs 45/- only!Though it’s a little bit more costly as compared to an average roadside vendor. Chole bhature is a major breakfast/lunch for most Delhiites. If not during the week, Sunday brunches consist of Chole Bhature in most households.
