Data from global travel search engine, Skyscanner, reveals Delhi’s most popular destinations for April and how the cost of getting there is changing. Bangkok
Bangkok won the top spot for travel in April. Hip and young – Bangkok is a delight for all visitors. Start with a visit to the gleaming temples Wat Pho and Wat Arun and then catch a tuk tuk along the bustling Chinatown or the floating markets where one can purchase exotic items at throwaway prices. The Asian hot spot has a wide culinary sphere, offering everything from local dishes served at the street stalls to haute cuisine at romantic rooftop restaurants. The second most searched destination by Delhi folks is London, the ever-popular U.K. capital’s sophisticated and regal charm is luring Delhi travellers in their droves this April. The grand old city is home to some of the world’s most popular tourist sites – London Eye, Tower Bridge, Buckingham Palace, Globe theatre and Westminster Abbey, to name a few. Once again, owing to the favourable nature of travel to Bali, Skyscanner noted a 14% dip in fares since 2016. A blend of different countries can be found in Goa’s tropical vibe.
