Unlike most other places that serve Biryani by plates, this one comes as a ‘Dum’ surprise. Because it’s not just the juices of the chicken pieces or the spices that make it great – it’s their system of selling biryani.
Nawabi Biriyani is a home delivery outlet in town that recently opened shop in Dwarka. And they deliver warm, fuzzy & delicious biryani in 0.75 kg and 1.5 kg pots. Now, the thing that makes Nawabi Biriyani special is that they are a bunch of Bongs doing authentic Mughlai Biryani! Pretty cool, right?
Nawabi Biriyani offers two types of biryani – Lucknowi Handi Dum Biryani & Kolkata Handi Dum Biryani. The Lucknowi Biryani is cooked in the Yakhni with ghee, topped with layers of meat & rice before getting sealed off with flour dough.
The Kolkata Biryani is made with Basmati Rice, cooked in Yakhni gravy on a charcoal flame.
Pretty damn delicious, right? Their prices are on the higher end but it’s always worth every penny that you pay!
