40ºC and climbing, this summer season doesn’t seem to chill out! But the the good thing is that we just spotted some of the best places for you to get some pool therapy!So, why go for a shower back home? When you can hop into your costumes & take a dip into these cool pools!

I. Common Wealth Games Village
CWG Village has one of the best pools in town with a shed over it to cover your heads from getting exposed to the scorching heat! But since you already walked through in the sun, we suggest you give the showers a hit first before entering the pool. Their super cool pool is clean, lengthy & mildly deep, so no reason to fear the deep side.
You will have to take membership to avail the services but for every visit you only have to pay nominal sum of 50 or so bucks to swim around for 45 minutes!

Days Open: Monday – Sunday (except Wednesday)
Timings: 07:00 am – 02:00 pm | 03:00 pm – 08:00 pm
II. Delhi Gymkhana Club
Delhi Gymkhana Club was the first club in town that offered heated pools service to its guests. Also, known as the ‘The Lady Wellingdon Swimming Bath’, the club boasts of the chillest pool in town. Anyway, after those long swimming pangs one obviously feels hungry to the core. Fret not, Delhi Gymkhana Club is widely known for its food! Don’t take our word for it, go check it out for yourself.

Timings: 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. & 4:30 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
III. Siri Fort Sports Complex
Epitome of sports enthusiasts in the Capital, Siri Fort Sports Complex, boasts of an Olympic size swimming pool. The sports complex is perhaps best known for the various sports utilities it provides to its guests.
The only hurdle that one must cross is getting membership. Not a problem, but once a member, guests only have to pay a paltry monthly amount in order to swim in heated pools.

Days Open: All Week (Except Monday)
Timings: 6:30 a.m. onwards
IV. Talkatora Swimming Complex
Perhaps, one of the most respected sports complexes in the Capital, Talkatora Swimming Complex, has three perfectly heated pools. The complex was used during the Commonwealth Games & so, has a reputation to filter out the best out of the swimmers.
The only drawback that we heard of was the dreaded TEST. A little birdie told us that in order to swim at the Complex, one must first give a swimming test. Even so, swimming here is just as fun as anywhere else. So, check it out for yourselves!

Trials On: Mondays & Tuesdays
Timings: 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
V. Crowne Plaza
For those goofy minds who don’t mind a swim in an outdoor pool, Crowne Plaza is the place to be. Crowne Plaza’s outdoor & temperature-controlled infinity pool is blissful & chill. Swimmers can also see the sky stretching out before their eyes while enjoying the heated pools.
Their infinity pool is perhaps the best workout one can get this summers. Go check it out and get your freak on – the splashy way.

VI. Friends Swimming Academy
Located in the sprawling Surya Hotel near New Friends Colony is Friends Swimming Academy that provides a huge, Olympic size swimming pool to our city. You can swim around showing off your skills or learn some new ones with hands-on coaching available at the pool.

Timings: 06:00 am – 10:00 am & 04:00 pm – 06:00 pm
