A few weeks back we told you about the canteen at Tihar Jail. Well, here they are painting their way into our lives and the entire ambience is simply mesmerising! With tons of motifs and wall art that shows their spirit and how they have changed is inspiring and kudos to all those who turned their lives around to a much healthier one.

- Considered to be one of the biggest jails in South Asia, Tihar Jail is also popular for providing some unique solutions for recreational teachings.
- And now, in yet another such initiative Tihar Jail is hosting a first of its kind art initiative! TIHAR: Kalabhiyan 2017 – for prison inmates.
- The main reason behind hosting such an art fest is to provide a platform to inmates with a creative bent! So, the event is not just to showcase their talent, but also build their confidence.
- Close to 100 inmates of Tihar and other prisons of the country will work in together under the guidance of 50 eminent artists. Together they will be creating art pieces that will be showcased at Lalit Kala Akademi.
