Dilliwaalon! The Lok Sabha elections are soon going to be held and you’ve got to vote. For women, the struggle is real since they will vote for their rights. A special arrangement for the women has been made this time as there will be dedicated polling stations for the women of Delhi for their safety and comfort!
The Election Commission is planning to set up booths with only women staffers to send across a message of women’s empowerment. Not just that, the presiding officers, polling officers, micro observers and security personnel will all be women. Moreover, some of the polling stations will be manned completely by women. In Delhi, elections will be held on May 12.
