To make the city roads safer for women, the Delhi Police has trained & deployed several women officers on bike patrol unit! And that’s not it, with the rising cases of cruelty against women, the Delhi Police is currently training women constables in the hundreds.

- The special unit of the women officers on bike patrol, currently, has been deployed near South Campus & RK Puram.
- We hear that the special patrol unit will only function between the wee hours of 05:00 pm – 10:00 pm. Which coincidentally is also the time with the maximum traffic & offences!
- Further, we hear that the women officers on bike patrol will mostly be targeting busy markets & slum areas. In fact, their job mandate not just surrounds patrolling their dedicated area but also interact with women to assist them!
