The mall will be closed to the public from February for a period of six months. The renovated mall will reopen on August 1, 2019.
Post-renovation, the mall would also host Japanese apparel retailer UNIQLO’s first store in the country. The 10-year-old DLF Place currently houses about 120 stores. However, after the makeover, the mall is expected to accommodate as many as 160 brands and at least 70% of the current brands will be replaced by new labels to give the complex a new look and vibe.
After DLF Place, the company also plans to revamp DLF Promenade and luxury fashion mall Emporio.
