The Haryana Government recently took a decision to ban all meat shops in Gurgaon. Only the ones near to residential areas, of course, but nonetheless they are being banned. Yet, to clarify, the ban is on issuing licenses to new shops that might be opening up.
As reported by Times Now, almost 2,300 meat shops in Gurgaon will get affected by the ban. However, in order the obtain a license the meat shops will have to pass 21 conditions put in place.
