School Kids Need A 'Pollution' Break And Its Not A Good News!

Well, we all had summer and winter breaks during school. But today, school children are in need of a ‘pollution’ break and it’s not good news. During a survey conducted, a majority of parents felt schools should declare ‘pollution’ break in schools as the air quality is very poor.

All schools in the capital reopened on Tuesday after being shut for 4 days. Last Tuesday, the city witnessed dense smoke and excessive pollution. The city’s air quality had hit 448 on an index of 500. Parents in Delhi want schools to shut from 1st to 20th November. And the survey conducted by LocalCircles, a community on social media received 13000 votes from Delhi. At least 55% respondents agreed to ask schools to remain closed between November 1 to 20 while 38% did not agree and 7% were unsure if it should be done or not.

It’s sad to have pollution breaks in schools. Don’t you think?
