So, in a shocking news update, liquor vendors in Delhi will not be able to sell Vat 69 and Smirnoff bottles in Delhi. Besides, the ban will probably be on all the brands that come under USL (United Spirits Limited).
The blacklisting of Vat 69 and Smirnoff
The ban came after the brand allegedly started issuing duplicate barcodes. Moreover, the issue had been first raised in 2017 when officials claimed that USL had violated provisions of the Delhi Excise Act 2009.
Additionally, blacklisting of USL was not just in Delhi alone. Blacklisted cities also include the likes of Aurangabad and Sangrur.
