Just like each year, Delhi’s mini Bengal is (CR Park) about to celebrate the most awaited festival- Durga Puja. This is the place to be if you want to enjoy true Bengal colours, lights and festivities. During this time of the year streets of CK Park, are filled with tons of Delhiites coming together to celebrate the festivities.
30 Second Window:
- That you are a part of the only walk of its kind in Delhi- ‘Pujo Aaschey Evening Walk’.
- It will give you a pre-Durga Puja taste. You’ll be able to witness hard-working artisans working on Goddess Durga’s 20 feet tall idol and Bangla Culture with musical/dance performances.
- And sit down for a typical Bengali dinner. The concept was co-founded by a true born bengali Mr. Ramit Mitra.
DforDelhi Recommends:
- That if you’re visiting CR Park, you must check out ‘Friends Ki Gupshup’ (Bengali chai adda), Telay-Bhajas’ (Veg-Fritters), Raj-era Mutton Chops & Fish Fry!
- Gorge on the tang of ‘Phuchkaas’ (Gol Gappas) & Jhalmuri (Puffed Rice with Masalas) and the sweetness of Rossogolla. These are a must haves!
