Delhi Metro Parking Rates To Increase By 50% From 1st May

Parking rates at Delhi Metro’s parking lots will be increased by 50% from 1st May. The new move to increase prices comes only a few months after the charges for commuting in the metro were also increased.

The charges for parking lot have been increased after a 5-year hiatus during which parking charges at civic parking lots increased. So, charges at DMRC parking lots will increase to INR 30 instead of the existing INR 20 for up to 6 hours.

In fact, for all the commuters who park their cars for anywhere between 6 and 12 hours will have to pay INR 50. And those parking their cars beyond 12 hours will have to pay INR 60! The night charges too have been increased to INR 60 from INR 40.

Moreover, the monthly charges have been increased from INR 1,000 to INR 1,200. Two wheelers will have to pay INR 15 up to 6 hours, INR 30 for parking anywhere between 6 and 12 hours. And night charges will be INR 30.

So, starting 1st May if you park your cars or two-wheelers at DMRC parking lots, get ready to pay more.
